"Orwell 2K" video surveillance system with computer "eye-sight" is designed for 24 hour perimeter check-up (linear or 3D) and installations guarding (enterprises, warehouses, cottages, parkings etc) and City safety providing (places of mass people crowding, terminals, schools and etc) by automatic targets detection(people, cars) and recognition in real time with data feedback on emergencies to the response teams.
Shamron principle is used in "Orwell 2K" system: one object for one operator. According to this principle, the processing of video images in distributed system and emergencies evaluation is done 100% by computer, whereas decision is left for men.
Similar to a human eye, the "Orwell 2K" video surveillance system plots out targets or situations of interest from the panoramic "flat" image and "eye focuses" on a particular event/
Stationary surveillance master camera pick-up a "panorama". There is an optical pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ or Slave) camera for detailed image acquisition.
Video streams from both cameras are recorded into a distributed cyclic video archive (using MPEG4-type compression) and connected with it database containing all targets, all attributes saved:
- type of target
- target ID
- camera # detected the target
- date and time of target occurrence and loss
- large photographs of targets, received from PTZ cameras (from 1 up to 12 per each target)
- video from PTZ cameras
- target video footage with prior history
If need to, an operator can run a live video directly out from the DB. |
